This is a set of auto extension tubes, which fit between your SLR camera and lens for extra close focusing (macro) shots, up to 1:1 (life size) or even better.

Unusually, they are specifically designed for the Olympus AF SLR cameras, and retain full meter coupling and viewfinder information, though focusing is manual. They're the only tubes we've ever seen for these cameras! Please note that they're not suitable for manual focus OM cameras or lenses, and can't be adapted to digital.

Three tubes are supplied - 13mm, 21mm and 31mm long, and all can be used singly or together in any combination for up to 65mm extension. The longer the extension used, the closer you'll get. They're ideal for all sorts of close ups. With a 50mm standard lens, the full set will get you to greater than 1:1 (actually 1.3x life size). This is as good as most dedicated macro lenses, filling the frame with a subject as small as 24x36mm (1x1.5 inches), and is ideal for photographing many small objects such as coins, stamps, insects, etc. Even greater magnification is available with wider angle lenses. Longer lenses offer lower magnification, but more comfortable working distances.

The tubes retain the fully automatic diaphragm and full aperture metering of the original camera and lens combination (where appropriate), so are fast and easy to use, with manual focusing and electronic focus confirmation. Compatible with all manual and auto exposure modes, including program where available. TTL metering systems (including TTL flash) will take care of the required exposure correction automatically. These independent Aico tubes are very solidly made (in Japan), with metal barrels and lens mounts, and a high standard of fit and finish. They will not disgrace your camera outfit.

Condition: Mint- (almost as new)
The tubes are in fully working order, with all linkages working correctly. Cosmetically, they look very good, with a stylish black finish, chrome highlights, and clean paintwork. There is only the usual small evidence that they've been used, including some small scratches around the bayonet mounts, handling marks here and there, etc. No dents, dings or deep scratches, and the box and accessories are also in very good shape.

Overall they're in great shape, and look almost as good as new!

Compatibility
These extension tubes fit the Olympus OM-707 (OM-77AF) auto focus SLR camera and Olympus AF lenses ONLY. They're used with manual focusing, compatible with all exposure modes including program, and full viewfinder information.

Not suitable for the Olympus OM101 (OM-88). Olympus AF/PF lenses and accessories do NOT work on the manual focus OM SLR cameras, the Pen F series, the screw thread FTL, the digital E-series, Four Thirds or any other make of camera. Not suitable for OM lens adapters.
