The Advanced Photo System (APS) provided extra features not available with 35mm, such as foolproof film loading with APS films, Mid Roll Change for swapping films whenever you want, three print formats (Classic 6x4, HDTV 7x4 and Panoramic 10x4-inch), time/date and message printing on the front OR back of your prints (not all processors offer this feature) and many more. Note: APS cameras don't accept 35mm film, though APS film and processing are still available at the time of writing (October 2011). Not all APS features are available on all cameras.
