This is a genuine Cosina Auto Winder for the company's first K-mount SLR cameras. The manual exposure CS-1, auto only CS-2 and auto/manual CS-3 were compact, well built cameras, and all could accept this winder for automatic film advance.

The winder fits onto the base and screws into the camera's tripod socket, adding only 35mm (under 1.5 inches) to the overall height, and a mere 200g to the weight. At one end is a battery compartment for 4x standard AA batteries (included), and an on/off switch so the camera can be wound manually even with the auto winder attached. On the base is a tripod socket and rewind release - film is rewound manually, but the winder does not need to be removed.

If you're still using one of these classic cameras (or are thinking of acquiring one) don't miss this nice example of an auto winder. There's not many of these around now!

The winder is in very good condition, and fully working order. The finish is good with just the usual signs of use, with just some surface marks here and there. The battery contacts are clear and bright, and show no signs of corrosion. The case is showing signs of age, but complete.

No dents, dings or deep scratches, and overall it's in nice shape!

Compatibility
This winder fits the Cosina CS-1, CS-2 and CS-3 (CS1, CS2 and CS3) K-mount SLR cameras only!

It will NOT fit any of the earlier screw mount cameras (which didn't accept a winder) or later Cosina K-mount SLRs (some of which accepted different winders). Not suitable for any other makes.
