This is a genuine Konica winder for two of the company's 35mm SLR cameras - the auto/manual exposure FC-1, and program only FP-1. These were compact, well built cameras, and could accept this winder for automatic film advance. It's very simple to use, and a copy of the instruction leaflet is included.

It gives continuous winding at up to 1.5 frames per second, depending on the shutter speed. You can also take single frames by simply removing your finger from the shutter release after each picture. Automatic film advance is often preferred for many types of photography, particularly sports, wildlife, action and even subjects which don't move very fast, but do change quickly - portraits, children, etc.

The winder fits onto the base, and screws into the camera's tripod socket, adding only 35mm (under 1.5 inches) to the overall height, and a mere 180g to the weight. At one end is a battery compartment for 4x standard AA batteries, including disposable alkaline (supplied) or rechargeable NiCd or NiMH types. There's an on/off switch so the camera can be wound manually even with the auto winder attached. On the base is a tripod socket and rewind release - film is rewound manually, but the winder does not need to be removed. If you're still using one of these classic cameras (or are thinking of acquiring one) don't miss this nice auto winder.

An excellent winder for Konica FC-1 and FP-1 users and collectors!

Condition: Excellent++ (8/10)
The winder is in good condition, and fully working order (checked on our Konica FP-1). The finish shows just the usual signs of use, including some surface scratches and scrapes here and there (mainly on the base). The leatherette finish is lifting slightly in places but complete.

No cracks, splits or deep scratches, and overall it's in good shape!
At the time of listing we have more than one of this item, but the pictures and description here are representative of all of them.
