This is an original Mamiya lens hood to fit several Sekor lenses for the RB67 and RZ67 medium format SLR cameras.

A lens hood provides shading for the front element of your lens, excluding extraneous light which can cause unwanted reflections, flare and loss of contrast. This one fits the Mamiya Sekor 127mm standard and some short telephoto lenses, with 77mm filter threads. It will also fit many other lenses with this filter size, with focal lengths of 127mm or longer (or equivalent portrait and medium telephoto lenses on other formats).

The hood is lightweight at only around 55g, and made from rubber with a ribbed matt black finish inside. It measures around 50mm (2 inches) long when extended, 25mm (1 inch) when collapsed for storage, 110mm (4.5 inches) in diameter and screws into the filter thread at the front of the lens.

This hood fits Mamiya Sekor RB67 and RZ67 lenses including the 127mm f/3.5, 140mm f/4.5 macro, 150mm f/4 soft focus, 150mm f/3.5, 180mm f/4.5 and 250mm f/4.5, plus the APO 210mm f/4.5 and APO 250mm f/4.5, with 77mm filter threads. It will also fit the 360mm f/6 and APO 350mm f/5.6, though a longer hood would provide better shading.

It's also usable on many other lenses with a 77mm filter thread and 127mm (or longer) focal lengths, and the equivalent on other formats.
