This is an original Mamiya lens hood to fit several of the company's 35mm Sekor wide angle lenses for 35mm SLR cameras, with 52mm filter thread.

A lens hood provides shading for the front element of your lens, excluding extraneous light which can cause unwanted reflections, flare and loss of contrast. This one collapses for storage.

The hood is lightweight at only around 35g, and made from rubber with a matt black finish inside. It measures around 40mm (1.6 inches) long when extended, 20mm (0.8 inches) when collapsed, 110mm (4.25 inches) in diameter, and pushes onto the ring at the front of the lens.

The hood is in very good condition with minimal signs of age, and no splits, cracks or other damage. The box is also in good condition. At the time of listing we have more than one of this item, but the pictures and description here are representative of all of them.

Compatibility
This lens hood fits several 35mm wide angle lenses with 52mm filter thread from Mamiya's 35mm SLR ranges. As it uses a push-on 54mm fitting, it may also be suitable for many other lenses of this size, and 35mm (or longer) effective focal length.

This hood is NOT suitable for the 35mm f/3.5 lens for 645 cameras.
