Genuine Minolta ever ready case for 5000AF and 7000AF cameras (not 7000i) with AA battery holder

This is an original Minolta CH-71 case for two of the early Minolta AF SLR cameras - the 5000 AF and 7000 AF, but not the later 7000i or any other models. It's in excellent condition and looks as if it's hardly been used.

Ever-ready cases provide useful protection for the camera and lens while being carried, yet the front can be opened quickly to take pictures. The case is attached using loops around the camera's strap lugs, so the strap doesn't have to be removed. A cutout section on the rear offers a view of the film identification window.

It comprises the CB-71 base and CF-71 front sections, and is long enough to accept many standard and wide angle lenses, plus small zooms such as the 35-70mm (see the full list below). It fits the cameras with the larger, optional AA battery grip only, and different cases are required for the standard AAA grip. This is a genuine Minolta case, with gold coloured logo on the front.

The case is in excellent condition and looks almost unused. It has just some handling marks here and there in the finish, but no cracks, splits, deep scratches or other damage.

Compatibility
This case fits the early Minolta 5000 AF (Maxxum 5000), 7000 AF (Maxxum 7000, Alpha-7000) SLR cameras only (but not the 7000i or any later models) with optional AA battery holder, and lenses no larger than the 24mm f/2.8 and 28mm f/2.8 wide angle, 50mm f/1.7 and 50mm f/1.4 standard, or the 35-70mm f/4 zoom.
