This Delkin eFilm Pro Series Pop-Up Shade is designed to fit easily onto the rear of the canon EOS 30D digital SLR camera (but not the D30 or any other models), protecting the LCD screen when closed, and shading it in bright light when open. As the LCD is often hard to see in sunlight, this can make reviewing images and changing settings much easier in the field.

It covers the LCD screen completely, and has a clear panel to protect it. A plastic cover provides further protection, and when this is raised, two side panels pop and lock into place. The LCD is then shaded from the top and sides, so is much easier to see. The shade includes buttons which provide access to the controls on the left of the screen when fitted, with a removable rubber eyecup and linkage for the viewfinder dioptre control.

The shade adds only around 35g to the weight of the camera, and 15mm (0.6 inches) to the depth when closed. It's simple to fit (instructions are supplied inside the packaging), and can be removed at any time if required.

Compatibility
This accessory fits the Canon EOS 30D camera ONLY. It will not fit the earlier D30 or any other models because of the different screen size and changed button positions.

Not suitable for any other EOS cameras, or any other makes.
