This unusual lens is suitable for the Olympus OM-101 (OM88) Power Focus SLR cameras (see below). It's in good condition, and comes with lens caps. Original Olympus PF lenses (like this one) for these cameras are now getting hard to find, and while manual focus OM lenses can be used, they have many restrictions. This lens is fully compatible with power focusing and all exposure modes on these cameras!

The focal length range is ideal for general use, covering everything from 35mm wide angle, through 50mm standard to 70mm short telephoto/portraits, and of course everything in between. Angle of view 63-34 degrees. It's the ideal range to keep on your camera at all times, and is great for landscapes, travelling, holidays, family pictures, portraits and many more subjects.

The lens uses Olympus's unique Power Focus feature, and is focused using the PF dial on the rear of the camera. Close focusing runs down to an impressive 0.45m (18 inches) at all focal lengths, with distances marked in feet and meters, plus infrared scale. Auto diaphragm and full aperture metering on Olympus PF cameras, compatible with all exposure and metering modes. Maximum aperture is f/3.5-4.5, and the lens stops down to f/22-32.

Multicoated (MC) glass for reduced flare against the light and increased contrast. High quality design using 9 elements in 8 groups. Filter thread is the standard, compact 49mm size - used on many OM Zuiko lenses and the 50mm PF lens. The lens is compact and lightweight, at only 53x69mm and 250g. It's nicely made (in Japan), with a metal lens mount, clear markings in multiple colours and a high standard of fit and finish.

Condition: Excellent++ (8/10)
The lens is in good condition, and fully working order. There's a small amount of play in the front section, but this is common in AF/PF lenses, and doesn't cause any problems. The diaphragm stops down smartly and is free of oil. The glass is very clean with no scratches, misting, fungus or other problems, but just some specks of dust and other tiny marks as usual, which won't affect the pictures at all. Cosmetically it has a smooth finish, clean paintwork and just some surface scratches and scrapes here and there (mainly underneath). The JCII "Passed" quality control sticker is still in place, and the caps are in good condition.

No cracks, splits or deep scratches, the filter thread is undamaged, and overall it's in good shape!

This lens fits the Olympus OM-101 (OM-88) 35mm SLR camera only, with power manual focusing, compatible with all exposure modes, including program, and full viewfinder information.

Olympus PF lenses and accessories do NOT work on the manual focus OM SLR cameras, the OM-707 (OM-77AF) auto focus SLR camera, the Pen F series, the screw thread FTL, the Digital E-series, or any other make of camera. Adapters to use OM manual lenses on other cameras are NOT suitable for PF or AF lenses.
