This Ricoh XR Winder 2 is an auto winder (power winder) for the company's XR7, KR-10 Super, KR-10X, XR-10, XR-6, XR-S and XR-Solar manual focus SLR cameras, plus the similar Sigma SA-1 (but not any other models - see below). It gives continuous winding at up to 2 frames per second, and is compact and lightweight. This one's in excellent condition, and comes with case and batteries.

An auto winder is ideal for fast moving subjects such as sports, children and even portraits where you want to take another picture quickly as the subject changes expression. It also means you don't need to take the camera away from your eye to wind on - especially useful for people who use their left eye for viewing.

The winder fits directly onto the camera's base plate, without having to remove any covers, etc. A rewind button is provided so that film can be rewound (manually) without removing the winder. A small fold-out stand on the base helps the camera/winder combination to stand upright. There's a built in tripod socket with standard 1/4-inch thread.

Solid, high quality construction - made in Japan. The winder adds only 34mm (around 1.5 inches) to the overall height of the camera, and 200g to the weight without batteries. Power source is 4x standard AA batteries which are inexpensive and easily obtainable - disposable Alkaline (supplied) or rechargeable NiCd of NiMH types can be used. A check button is provided.

A useful winder which is a must for Ricoh (and Sigma) users and collectors!

Condition: Mint- (almost as new)
The winder is in excellent condition and fully working order (checked on our SA-1). The controls operate positively and the finish shows just the usual signs of use with some very small surface marks here and there. The battery contacts are clean with no sign of corrosion. The case is in good condition. No cracks, splits or other damage, and overall it's in great shape! Pictures in this listing show the actual item offered for sale.

Compatibility
This winder fits the Ricoh XR7, KR-10 Super, KR-10X, XR-10, XR-6, XR-S, XR-Solar cameras, plus the related Sigma SA-1 only.

It will NOT fit the earlier KR-10, XR-1s and XR-2s models which require a different winder with built in grip (click here for one of these winders).  Not suitable for any other Ricoh or Sigma cameras, or any other makes.
