This Sigma remote control unit adds wireless triggering capabilities to all Sigma 35mm AF and digital SLR cameras. It comes with original case, and batteries.

You can release the shutter from a distance using the hand-held transmitter aimed at the remote receiver on the front of the camera. There's a delay of either one or three seconds before the shutter release operates, so if you're taking a self portrait you have time to hide the transmitter. It's a real help for macro and extreme telephoto use on a tripod (especially with the mirror lockup feature activated), as it prevents vibration being transmitted to the camera.

It's a compact, pocketable unit at only around 70x22x13mm in size, and weighs only 12g with batteries. Power is supplied by 2x standard Lithium CR1220 batteries (included). The cameras need to be set to Remote mode before the remote signal will be accepted - please see your camera manual for instructions. It's very easy to use, and its operation is covered in the cameras' instruction books.

The remote control is in very good condition with only small signs of use including some surface marks in the plastic finish. It's been tested on our Sigma SA-5 film and SD14 digital cameras, and works perfectly. The case is also in good condition, and batteries have been fitted.

Compatibility
Works with Sigma AF 35mm SLR cameras including the SA-300, SA-300N, SA-5, SA-7 and SA-9, plus the SD9, SD10 and SD14 digital. Sigma lists the SA-31 as the correct remote for the SD14, but we've tested this remote on our own camera and it works fine (it should also work with the SD15).

Not suitable for older Sigma cameras such as the SA-1, which don't work with infrared remotes, or any other makes.
