This is an original Tamron lens hood to fit various lenses with a 67mm filter thread, including the Adaptall 38-100mm f/3.5 zoom lens (model CZ-38), but not the earlier version with 72mm filter thread (SZ-38). It's in good condition, and comes with case.

A lens hood provides shading for the front element of your lens, excluding extraneous light which can cause unwanted reflections, flare and loss of contrast. The hood is lightweight at under 60g, and made from rubber and metal with a ribbed matt black finish inside. It measures around 35mm (1.5 inches) long, and 110mm (4.25 inches) in diameter, and clamps on to the front of the lens, with a metal screw to secure it. The hood collapses for easier storage.

The hood is in very nice condition with only normal signs of use, and no damage. The case is also in good condition. At the time of listing we have more than one of this item, but the pictures and description here are representative of all of them.

Compatibility
This hood fits the Tamron Adaptall 38-100mm f/3.5 zoom lens (model CZ-38), with 67mm filter thread. It's not suitable for the earlier version of this lens (model SZ-38) with 72mm filter thread.

As it uses a clamp-on fitting, it should also be suitable for many other lenses from 38mm upwards with 67mm filter threads, as long as the front of the lens has a clear area (external diameter 70mm) for the hood to attach to.
