These cameras had a different bayonet mount to the Yashica and Contax manual focus SLR cameras (see the Contax/Yashica category), and only Yashica AF (and independent Yashica AF-fit) lenses will fit directly. A clever 1.6x AF converter was made to fit manual focus Contax/Yashica lenses onto AF cameras with auto focusing, and many flash units are interchangeable between the two systems.
